Vincent Fournier

The Robotic jellyfish drone is part of the Post Natural History project, and as such, addresses the imaginary of a future where synthetic biology becomes a mainstream technology to enhance the living.  Here the drone is semi- biological and semi- robot, a hybrid living which serves the agricultural sector. In a scenario where the effects of climate change are not so predictable, where some severe localized draughts can happen suddenly, this drone would emerge from rivers fully inflated with fresh water, to fly above dry lands and drop water as ordered by agro-monitoring satellites.
